Fernandez wins Arizona Falcon Amateur
PHOENIX, AZ (July 2, 2011) -- Juan fired a brilliant second round 66 to capture the 2011 Falcon Amateur at Falcon Dunes Golf Club Saturday.
Starting the day 3 shots back, Fernandez had to pass 7 players. Jimmy Kozikowski was tied for first going into the final round and 68 (-3) fell just a single stroke shy of Fernandez.
Grant Cesarek almost stole the show with a 62 (-9) for the day. His two-day total of 76-62--138 was good for a tie at fifth place.
