Elizabeth Brightwell, Ashley Lance, and Mary Alice Murphy tie for Medalist at 72

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Georgia (May 31, 2010) -- Match play qualifying was played today at The 95th Women's Southern Amateur Championship. Three women - Elizabeth Brightwell of the University of Virginia; Ashley Lance of the University of Mississippi, and Mary Alice Murphy of Lookout Mountain, TN tied for the low qualifying score at 72. For Murphy, golf away from home this week is a good thing. Her home club, The Honors Course, is busy hosting the NCAA Men's Division I Championship anyway.
