Lompoc City: Nicholas Jan wins by 3
LOMPOC, Calif. (April 13, 2014) -- Nicholas Jan fired rounds of 77-71 to win by three shots at the Lompoc City Championship at La Purisima Golf Course.
Jan was three shots better than runner-up Sean Crocker, who shot 76-75 to finish alone in second place.
Dale Smith, who shot two straight rounds of 76, was third.
In the Net Division, Sean Lynch carded rounds of 74-71 to win by a shot over Mike Portman.
ABOUT THE Lompoc City Amateur
Individual 36-hole gross and net stroke play
competition open to all amateur golfers. Limited to
the
first 90 entries. Net competitors must have a valid
USGA handicap. Entry fee includes green fees for
both
days, prize fund and Sunday barbecue.
