Tucson City Sr.: Geare wins by a shot
TUCSON, Ariz. (Dec. 9, 2013) -- Patrick Geare shot rounds of 72-75 to win by one shot at the 2013 Tucson City Senior Amateur.
Geare's first-round 72 was enough to separate him from the field and runner-up Tom Beach, who made a surge in the final roundby shooting 73.
Julio Ortiz shot 75-75 and took third.
Other flight winners included Rick Jones, Duane Jefts and Mike Nelson.

36-hole stroke play championship for seniors (ages 50
and over) and for women (of all ages) played on two
courses. Flights will be
determined by handicap.
