Dunes Medal: Houston wins by 1
RYE, VICTORIA (Nov. 29, 2013) -- As the top professional golfers in the nation (and world) battle for the Australian Open title, some of the country's best amateurs took aim at the prestigious Dunes Medal at The Dunes Golf Club.
Local favorite Anthony Houston shot rounds of 73-69-69-72 to win by one shot over Taylor MacDonald and Zach Murray. The difference came in the final round as all three entered tied before Houston bested the runners-up by a shot to win the overall title.
Jake McLeod took fourth, one shot ahead of Todd Sinnott.
On the women's side Min-Jee Lee won in a landslide, taking the division by nine shots.

course. Rounds 1 and 2 are played on Tuesday
and
Wednesday followed by a cut with the Top 40
players
plus ties playing the final two rounds on

Squad.
