Charleston Senior: Hoover wins by 2
CHARLESTON, S.C. (Nov. 3, 2013) -- Mark Hoover fired a final-round 71 to close out a terrific victory at the 2013 Charleston City Senior Amateur at Charleston Municipal Golf Course.
Hoover entered the final day up by on over Bert Atkinson and beat him by a shot to stretch the lead. His 71 was the day's lowest round.
Atkinson (74-72-72) was alone in second place while John Frye took third after rounds of 75-73-72.
