Palms wins S.C. Mid-Amateur by two
BEAUFORT, S.C. (Sept. 15, 2013) — Lee Palms shot a final round of 66 to finish at nine under par 207 to claim a two-shot victory at the South Carolina Mid-Amateur Championship at Oldfield Golf Club.
John Patterson, the leader going into the day, finished at 209 in second place after shooting 71 on Sunday.
Palms rebounded from an opening-round 74 to shot 67-66 on the weekend claim victory.
