Top field ready for Pacific Links Hawai'i Champ.

HONOLULU (September 4, 2013) – Pacific
Links Hawai‘i is pleased to announce that the
talented field committed to compete at
the Pacific Links Hawai‘i Championship
continues to grow. Seventeen winners of this
year’s Champions Tour events, including
repeat winners Kenny Perry, Bernhard Langer
and David Frost, have officially committed to
the $1.8 million full-field Pacific
Links Hawai‘i Championship at Kapolei Golf
Club, this Sept. 16 to 22. Perry, Langer and
Frost are currently ranked first, second
and third in the Charles Schwab Cup
standings. Perry is having an exceptional year
that has included back-to-back Champions
Tour major wins at the Constellation SENIOR
PLAYERS Championship and U.S. Senior
Open.
Additional winners of 2013 Champions Tour
events committed to the Pacific Links Hawai‘i
Championship include John Cook;
Brad Faxon; Jeff Sluman; Russ Cochran; Mark
Wiebe; Craig Stadler; Tom Pernice Jr.
alongside Champions Tour rookies John
Riegger, Rocco Mediate, Esteban Toledo, and
Bart Bryant.
Joining this year’s Champions Tour winners at
the Pacific Links Hawai‘i Championship are
World Golf Hall of Fame inductee Isao
Aoki, known for his unique but precise putting
style, World Golf Hall of Fame inductee and
Masters and British Open champion
Sandy Lyle and 2013 Champions Tour major
winners Mark Wiebe and Kohki Idoki. Eight-
time PGA TOUR winner Fred Funk, 13-
time PGA TOUR winner Mark Calcavecchia,
U.S. Open champion Scott Simpson and Duffy
Waldorf, currently 5th in the Schwab
Cup standings, will also vie for the Pacific
Links Hawai‘i Championship title, alongside the
inaugural Pacific Links Hawai‘i
Championship defending champion Willie
Wood.
The Pacific Links Hawai‘i Foundation, a non-
profit community organization formed to
cultivate and sustain programs aiding
Hawai'i’s ecosystem, keiki and culture, will
receive proceeds from the tournament. In
2012, the Pacific Links Hawai‘i Foundation
gifted a total of $100,000 to Hawai‘i non-
profits including Ka’ala Farm, Kapolei
Community Development Fund, Malama
Learning
Center, University of Hawai‘i West Oahu and

Tickets are on sale now for the Pacific Links
Hawai‘i Championship at the award-winning
Kapolei Golf Club, Sept. 16 – 22,

Championship
The Pacific Links Hawai‘i Championship is an
official Champions Tour event. The $1.8
million full-field championship will be held
at Kapolei Golf Club and will feature top
Champions Tour players competing for a
$270,000 winner’s purse. Proceeds from the
event will go to the Pacific Links Hawai‘i
Foundation to benefit local non-profits that fit
three criteria: perpetuate Hawaiian
culture, heal the ‘āina and provide a better
