Oglethorpe Inv.: Engelhardt, Geibel share lead
SAVANNAH, Ga. (July 26, 2013) -- Collin Engelhardt and Robert Geibel fired first-round 65s and share the lead at the 2013 Oglethorpe Invitational.
At Wilmington Island Club, the co-leaders are a shot up on Jack Hall, MJ Maguire and Will Evans who are tied for third.
Bryce Chalkey, Jacob Tilton and Jarred Garcia are just two shots back and tied for sixth.
All told, there are 27 players within four shots of the first-round lead and 39 players sitting within five shots entering Round 2 of the 54-hole stroke-play event. After Saturday's second round, there will be a cut to the low 60 players and ties.

54-hole stroke play event (with 36-hole cut) has
been a good mix of collegiate, mid-amateur, and
senior players since its inaugural playing in 1983,
which was won by three-time PGA Tour winner
Gene Sauers. Entries open to amateurs with USGA
handicap index of 5 or less.
