Minnesota Am: Jacobson, Welle share lead
MEDINA, Minn. (July 15, 2013) -- Andy Jacobson and Ben Welle both shot 3-under 69s and share the first-round lead at the 110th Minnesota Amateur Championship at Medina Golf & Country Club.
The duo is tied just one shot ahead of Jesse Polk and Sam Matthew. Polk and Matthew hot 2-under 70.
Johnny Larson, Dominic Kieffer and Brent Jacobson are all two shots back.
All told, 11 players are within three shots of the lead entering the second-round.
