U.S. Women's Open: Amateur update
Amateurs remain at the 2013 U.S. Women's Open. After six players made the 36-hole cut, here's a look at how they're faring late on Day 3:

Brooke Mackenzie Henderson: The Canadian made the cut as the low amateur but struggled with a third-round 83. She sits in a tie for 62nd entering Sunday's finale.

Lydia Ko: A likely favorite entering the week, Ko shot even par on Thursday but struggled throughout her round Friday. She made the cut but shot 79 on Saturday and will start Sunday's final round near the bottom of the field. While she's not in contention of winning, she'll be among three golfers duking it out for low amateur honors on Sunday.

Casie Cathrea: Cathrea, a member of amateurgolf.com, shot 75-73-79 throughout the first three rounds and is 7-over. She'll battle with Chen and Ko for low amateur honors on Sunday.

Doris Chen: Chen shot a second straight 74 and sits tied with Cathrea after both players shot third- round 79s. The two will battle for low amateur honors Sunday. line.

Yueer Feng: Feng slipped in under the cut line at 7-over and had a late tee time in Round 3 on Saturday afternoon.

Nelly Korda: Korda, the sister of fellow field member Jessica Korda, fired a 73 on Thursday and followed it up with a Friday 77. She made the cut and teed off late Saturday in the third round.


ROUND 3 UPDATES FROM GOLFWEEK: Inbee Park doesn't do a lot of talking, but she's sure to attract the lion's share of the commentary this weekend as she chases a women's grand slam at Sebonack. Having won the first two majors of the season, Park took the second-round lead of the U.S. Women's Open on Friday with a 68. She'll play in the day's last group alongside I.K. Kim – after the second round is completed, that is, with play suspended Friday evening after fog settled into Southampton, N.Y., with several groups still on the course. Kim is two shots back, with Lizette Salas five back. Jodi Ewart Shadoff also began the day five shots back, with three holes remaining in her second round.
