ABOUT THE Festival of Flowers Golf Tournament
36 hole stroke play tournament held as a
part
of the South Carolina Festival of Flowers.
Open to any Male Amateur who has reached his 16th
birthday and who
has a current maximum USGA Handicap Index of
9. Championship,
Senior, and (if there are enough players) Super
Senior divisions.
The South Carolina Festival of Flowers is an
annual celebration that features a variety of
music including bluegrass, jazz, beach,
chorale
and gospel. There are also a variety of
sporting events, including golf tournaments,
a
fishing tournament, a swim meet, a 5K fun
run,
a 62.5 bike ride through Greenwood County,
plus an Olympic distance triathlon.
